If alcohol is to be sold or distrubuted to persons other than private groups or organisations represented by the Hirer (no 'outsider' admission on the door), Hirers MUST obtain a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) from West Somerset Council PRIOR to the event. A similar requirement for a TEN applies to Hirings that fall outside the times specified within the Premises Licence.
Hirers must advise the Hall Bookings Secretary when making their booking if they intend to apply for a TEN. The hall is restricted as to the number of TENs allowable per annum.
The hall is gas centrally heated throughout (costs included in hiring charges) and holds a Premises Licence for plays, films, live and recorded music and dancing. Several power sockets (13 amp 'coin free') are available in Meeting Room, Hall and Kitchen.
Hall, 7 x 11 metres, with stage and lighting, piano, sound system, hearing loop, pull-down (8 feet) projector screen and various power points (no coins required). Capacity 130 seated, 80 seated at tables or, with dancing, 60 seated at tables. Chairs & tables included in hire, if needed (hirer responsible for setting out and clearing away of these).
Meeting (Committee) room 4 x 6 metres with tables and chairs in-situ.
Kitchen, with hot/cold running water, power points, electric kettles, refrigerator, electric oven, microwave cooker, hostess trolley and crockery/cutlery for 80 covers.
12 six feet long folding tables (stored on the stage), plus a further 12 available (at additional cost) from Bicknoller Flower Show. These are stored elsewhere but may be made available if requested through the bookings secretary at the time of booking.
Disabled access and WC plus male / female WCs.
Ample parking on site.
