Bicknoller Village Hall’s Facilities
The Main Hall
The main hall is 7 x 11 metres, with stage and lighting, piano, sound system, hearing loop (AFILS), pull-down (8 feet) projector screen and various power points (no coins required).
Its capacity is 90 seated, 70 seated at tables and 60 seated at tables with dancing. Chairs & tables are included in the hire, if needed (the hirer is responsible for setting out and clearing away).
The Committee (Meeting) Room
The Committee Room is 4 x 6 metres with tables and chairs in-situ.
The kitchen is a fully equipped catering standard kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge, freezer, plate and food warmers, large electric oven and hob and crockery/cutlery for 80 covers.
There’s also a kitchenette for beverages with instant boiling water dispenser, microwave and fridge.
Other Tables & Chairs
There are 12 six feet long folding tables (stored on the stage). An additional 12 tables are available (at additional cost) from the Bicknoller Flower Show. These are stored elsewhere but may be made available if requested through the Bookings Secretary at the time of booking.
90 wooden folding chairs may be hired from the hall for use at other locations. Hirers must arrange suitable transportation for collection and return.
Wooden trestle tables may be hired from Bicknoller Flower Show.
The Play Area & Playing Field
Next to the village hall is a children’s playground with shelter and a playing field with moveable goals.
The play area has play equipment and a zip line for older children.
Parking & Other Amenities
There is ample parking at Bicknoller Village Hall as well as Disabled access and men’s, women’s and disabled toilets.
Parking for anyone not using the Hall or the adjacent Village Shop is permitted, but a donation towards the upkeep of the facilities is requested. Contributions may be made via the coin box adjacent to the barn door at the rear of the shop or by cheque (payable to Bicknoller Village Hall) via the Bookings Secretary.
